A few months ago while on deployment I asked here what I needed to start reloading and was told to read all the tutorials at the top of the forum.
So I read them all, bought several manuals, as well as watched and read in the many threads on things. It all has been a HUGE help and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone in the forum 
Here is the reloading bench I build for myself over the past couple of days. It comes apart in three sections for when I have to move. I threaded anchors into the top to secure the presses and the vise. that way I can quickly remove them to use as a gun cleaning bench and what not. Overall I'm very happy with how it turned out. I had to order a RCBS 505 today, after doing some reading I realize the Lee scale that comes with the kit is garbage. I'll be starting out on 45acp still awaiting for the bullets to arrive from Midway. thanks again -Lee

RCBS 505 is a great scale, be sure to mount it level and at eye level. That's a powder trickler to the right. I remember your post, glad you found our responses helpful. That's a great looking bench. I really like that you took the time to stain and finish it. Some nice craftsmanship there. Normally presses are bolted to a bench and fender washers used under the bolt heads and nuts. Lag bolts will be ok for a while, if they start to loosen, then you will know that you have to upgrade. Looking forward to your "Shot my first Reloads" thread. |

Dryflash I think I worded it wrong on the construction I used lagbolts to hold the legs to the top and bottom, the presses are threaded with machine screws sitting on washers into 1/4 x 20mm anchors in the top......they don't move at all
