I'm helping with the development/testing of a 3 way cutter for Possum Hollow's trimmers, and would like to get the hive's opinion- what do you think would be the optimum chamfer/deburring angles for a 3 way cutter?

I see that Giraud's trimmers are set to 15 inside, 45 outside, but I've heard people saying that's a bit too steep.

What would you guys think about a 30 degree inside, 45 degree outside cut?

That should work well. Need a Beta Tester?

That sounds about right.

However, the tool should deburr, not chamfer.  These are not the same operations.
