Well, I am about to start reloading my 7mm mauser, it is a mauser 95 built in Germany and I use it as a hunting rifle. Question I had was that I have read that the 95 actions cannot take the same about of CUP pressures as a model 98 and modern mauser. So my question is what is the Maximum CUP pressure for this, are the 95 models made in Germany able to handle the loads better than other made rifles? I am new to this and am trying to gather information before I attempt to even try a load. How can I convert the information in my reloading manual to find what cup pressures these load are at? I have a speer 14th edition and it just says to stay at the start loads only and not to exceed this.

That is your answer.

They are saying the start load will be safe in your rifle.

Reread the last paragraph on page 360.

If you work up any higher, it will be too much pressure for your rifle.
