First off...I had my wife look for it at WalMart, and if they had some, pick some up.
She came home with 3 bottles.
Questions are...
1) Is it only available in powder form?
2) Do you use it in powder form, or dilute it into a liquid
3) In walnut media or corn cob?
4) What ratio? How much do you put in?

Up until now, I have only used walnut media with Flitz compound...so this Lemishine thing is new to me.

Lemishine is a powder that is added to water to clean brass, or put into a wet tumbler.

Not for use with dry media. (Walnut and corn cob)

In a wet tumbler, I use a 45 ACP case full to 2 Qts of water.

I use lemishine as a "pre-clean" before going into my tumbler...mainly to loosen up the carbon build up and remove whatever dirt, powder, etc. residue remains. This step alone usually gives my brass a pretty clean appearance.

As far as using the lemishine, I just dump about 200 pieces of brass (in my case .40 S&W) into a plastic container with a lid, along with as hot water as i can get from the faucet, a drop or two of dish soap, and maybe half a teaspoon full of lemishine. I will then put the lid on the container and shake it pretty rigorously for a few seconds and then let it sit. I will go back and re-shake it every 15-30 mins until about 2 hours have passed. At the end of the 2 hours i drain all the water/soap out and rinse the brass several times with hot water. Then I dry them off on a towel (not individually, more like just patting them all down with the towel).

After i let my brass dry, usually after a few hours giver or take, I stick them into my tumbler with walnut media and Nu Finish polish. After about four hours of tumbling, I have nearly ultra-clean and very shiny brass.

Batch of LC just as I bought them. Here I am taking the dents out of the mouths with a couple of punches.

When cases are this dirty, a Lemishine pre soak before tumbling will make your media last longer.

After a 1/2 hour soak in Lemishine and dried.

After being tumbled in walnut, now ready to lube and size.

Tumbled in corn cob to remove the lube, and give the final polish.

Ready for the rest of case prep. Primer pocket crimp removal, PP uniforming, trimming and deburing.

Well Stoney Point you now have a life time supply of Lemi-shine

Does Lemi-shine create foam? I was curious if anyone has tried it in an ultra-sonic cleaner with just water.
