| I may have been under a rock for a while. I noticed on Natchez they are speaking of a price in crease of components coming in April. what's up with this. |

Actually its not fuel. Its the DeValuation of the US Dollar.
Fuel has gone up 50% over the past 12 months, but copper has jumped 120%, gold 100%, etc. Thank Geithner and Bernake for printing money like gangbusters, this forces other countries to trade in things other than dollars. Wa are about to hit what Britain did in the mod 70s when they devalued their stirling...strikes, riots, shortages of everything (people were reduced to eating dinner by candlelight). I am afraid to even speculate how much bullets will cost from wideners. |

I'd expect a huge price increase in all metal related items....Japan will be buying a shitton of metal for rebuilding and things will go through the roof. Other metals have been up for a while, I just hadn't checked on lead lately. Clean steel scrap was $200 per ton just before Christmas, and scrapped heavy machinery was selling for $175 per ton - that's remarkable. |

Everything that wasn't bolted down was being thrown on a trailer. It's still rather high. Brother just took a junk truck cab/frame in 2 weeks ago and got $250 for it. IIRC, it's up to $230ish a ton. Crazy times. EDIT: My parents just told me they're going to buy me a Dillon 550B for my birthday (we just found out that we're having a baby and I won't be able to buy one for quite a while). Hopefully, Dillon holds off on any price increases ![]() Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

It's not just the fuel. Along with everything else that's already been said, you can follow metal prices here.http://www.kitcometals.com/
About a year ago lead was around 50 cents a pound. It's now hovering around $1.23 which is actually a little lower than a couple of months ago where it hit a yard and a half. If someone smarter than the average bear could make that link hot it would be greatly appreciated
