So, I got a "deal" on this used SDB.
Found out it had some significant "problems". I called Dillon, offering to pay to have it refurb'ed. A friendly voice said, "Just ship it to us and we'll take a look at it". I was expecting a call with an estimate. Couple weeks later a box shows up on my doorstep. LIKE NEW.....and NO CHARGE Ya just can't beat that with a stick. |

I broke a piece on my 550. Totally my fault.
I called to order a new one and they wouldn't let me pay for it. A friend on mine said if the American car manufacturers treated their customer the way Dillon treats us people would be asking their friends; "Did you know the Japanese build cars?". |

I live real close to Dillon Precision and have been using their products since they were located off of Butherus over by Scottsdale Airport years ago.
Their customer service is world class. My SD has been rebuilt twice now free of charge. One time I managed to get a 30.06 case stuck in an Redding sizing die. Tore the crap out of hte die trying to get the damn thing out. Took it to their store expecting to pay for another one. Handed them the die and said, "I need another one of these". As I was getting my wallet out to pay I was told that they warranty everything they sell. I own three Dillon machines as well as a couple of RockChuckers. I can't say enough about how Mike Dillons' company has always been top notch when it comes to taking care of their customers. As has been said, "Drink the blue koolaid!" |

I got the same treatment from this guy, for something that was my fault. None of the major manufacturers have poor service. http://www.splicetoday.com/vault/posts/0000/5405/ohyea3_large.jpg But really, this is just a chance for me to exact my revenge on all the Dillon fans that jump into every thread... "What single stage press should I get?" "Dillon!"
I don't know why you choose to join "those guys" (the imature posters, who post that crap.) Can we leave the Dave_A stuff in GD? Keep the quality posts comming 'ron. |
