Guys,
I was resizing some 7.62x54r brass today and noticed there are several small dents in the shoulder of 6 of the 9 rounds I sized. They are not that major but enough to make me wonder. Are they OK to load and shoot? If they are OK, what could be the reason the brass is getting dented? I am using all LEE equipment with Privi brass. Brass is 2x fire. |

I was starting to process a bunch of Korean 30-06. I did not use any lube on the outside neck, only the body and the inside neck, and on the tenth shell it got stuck. The ones before it were very difficult to resize whereas earlier ones, when I was lubing the outside neck, were fairly easy.

| get your self a Lyman neck lubricator kit from Midwayusa. Product #256493. When I resize i lightly roll 6 or 7 cases across lube pad then dip case neck (about every 3rd one) in the mica powder that comes with kit...Use the brushes supplied with a cordless drill on inside of necks before you even start though, it does make a difference. The process works for me atleast, i used to put a little case lube inside and around rim of neck, now just a quick dunk in powder |
