I was going to do a load of 22.5g of n140 with 80smks by load calls for a oal of  2.435 but that but that is to long for my mags if i make them fit my mags how much will that change my load realy need to stick with the load because i already got everything

Youre going to have to single load or sell them and buy 77s.

80gn bullets in the .223 are single load affairs.  No other way to do it.  Trying to seat them to mag length will mess up everything.

I have shot them at mag length, but they're slightly below the bearing surface. It didn't cause any feeding problems, either.
It wasn't my gun, so I'm not sure what the load is.

You will have so much freebore it won't really matter, pressure wise.  I've done it, accuracy was not there, not worth throwing that expensive bullet down range if it is 5 MOA.



That SOUNDS like a starting load but I'm without access to my load book.

In related news, I just loaded some 75 AMAXs to 2.260. I'll try them out tomorrow.

Those 75 gr. Amaxs shot, cycled, and fed just fine, but the accuracy may not be there.



I will put it on paper later this week.
