Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody who owns this book could tell me if this book contains data , and charts and such only, or if it is an instructional book also.
If this is not a suitable instructional book for a beginer, could you guys recomend one? I've read most of the stickies that pertain to beginers, but I think I need more info about all the tools that are required, and how to use them before I start making purchases. I've seen some of the kits on Midway, but I'm sure they don't come with absolutely everything as far as tools go that I would need. I was hoping to find some detailed info on this in book form if possible. Thanks guys, BD |

Many years ago I "taught" myself to reload with the lyman manual that came with my lyman reloading kit . This is a good basic step by step guide for pistol or rifle reloading that is very well laid out and easy to follow with great photos and diagrams .
I would be the first person to sugest multiple sources for data (lyman is one of the ones I always use) but this handbook is a great general book for the starting reloader. Use with confidence! |

Also has a great "how to reload" section. If I could only have 1 reloading manual, it would be the Lyman 49. I look up a lot of loads as I read the threads, unless a brand of bullet is specified, the Lyman gets opened first. |
