That load should operate an AR-15 without incident. Have you tried factory ammo in it? Try to get a box of ammo loaded to .223 pressures and see if it does the same thing. Yes the only factory ammo I have is Winchester 5.56 Q3131 though, the rifle did function with it. I have five other rifles that function with the load I stated above and lighter loads, two of them are midlengths too. |

That doesn't sound too mild to me either. Same here. Is your gas port aligned correctly with the gas block? Is your gas key firmly attached to the carrier? Yes, I thinking maybe your gas block is not on right. I checked the gas key, it is firmly attached and staked properly. I have not pulled apart anything to closely look at the gas block yet. From what I can see through the handguards all looks gtg. The upper and bcg were bought from a highly respected vendor. |
