I was just looking thorough a write up on Alliant's new Power Pro 300-MP powder and noticed where they are calling it "296 with a flash suppressant". It is slower than 296 and faster than IMR's 4759. It's listed as a double base, spherical powder with a nitroglycerin content of about 10% and a bulk density of .950 g/cc. Granules are essentially indistinguishable from W296/H110.
Has anyone tried loading the .458 SOCOM with this? Results? |
