Just a quick question on 45 acp?
After a few loadings ( say 3-5 loadings) of the same cases, will the loads start loosing their accuracy? |

Nope, that is one of the reasons why brass was chosen as a case material - the malleability of the brass case. The case expands to seal the chamber walls of your firearm, then the reloading die returns it to the proper specification for reloading. It is a great system. And the 45 ACP is an example of a cartridge which will easily load 10 - 15 times or more. I have 45 ACP cases I have loaded so many times the headstamp letters are almost unreadable - yet they shoot just fine. |

You should try 10mm. I swear half of those things vanish into thin air as soon as they hit the ground. That's funny you mention this, because I'm eyeballing a colt 10mm at a local shop. I traded in one a few years ago, due to lack of ammo being sold around here, but now that I am reloading I'm thinking of getting one again
I loved that cartridge!!! I have been using a Graco models....... http://www.gracomodels.com/index.html ..... brass catcher, and have been retrieving 99% on my brass now. I use the one that goes on the hand for pistol, and the large one with a tripod for the rifle. |
