Well I have been at it for about 7 months now and I have alot of thanks and credit to give to the great guys on this forum. Thanks to you guys I went from this:

To this:

So, Lets go through the break down of how I acquired my awesome new Dillon. My cousin bought a bunch of reloading stuff in an estate sale. I was talking to him at the family reunion and he mention he had a Dillon press. I ask him if he wants to sell it and he say he would and ask what I would give him for it. I said $175. So he dropped it off at my parents house one weekend and my mom and I worked out an agreement where I would trade her paint, I work at Sherwin Williams, for the press. I paid $120 for the paint and supplies and was upfront with her about how much I paid. She said we will just call it even! Fine by me! So the press was locked up and I called Dillon, they said send it in. Shipping cost me around $40 to send it to them. I got it back today with all the parts I ordered. Wanna know how much Dillon charged me? NOTHING Hows that for a no B.S. warranty?

So, Im now set up with a Dillon 550 for a grand total of $160. Gotta love it.

Thanks again guys for all the help and inspiration.

Typical Dillon CS, I have sent back 2 different SDB's and they rebuilt them for free.

Glad we could help.

Thanks guys. I finally have it up and running but I see now that Im going to have to add some weight to my bench. I was a counter top from work and it was free so you cant beat that and ITS BLUE. I have already found out that sorting by headstamp will save alot of aggravation and Im working on that right now. Gotta get to work on one of those primer stack blocks to.

Can't wait till I get my 650!  I'll probably be getting it before the end of the year if all the finances go as planned.  This turret is getting tiresome for the amount of rounds I'm loading on it

I love the 550 and it sure beats a single stage. Honestly, if I didnt get such a great deal I would still be on the single stage, but I wouldnt trade the Dillon for anything now.

Here is how I make my primer tube blocks. Made for 10 tubes for those 1k runs.

Block is 7 12 x 2 3/4, by 1 1/2 thick.

Hole diameter is 3/8 inch, depth is 1 inch. Notice the copper nail on the right side of the block.

It's for loosening that last primer in the pick up end of tube.

Block in pic is made of Red Oak, stained and finished with 3 coats of polyurthane.

Red Oak on left, White Oak on right before finishing, original in center without the groves that aid picking them up. Cut them at a later date.

Left, groves cut in original, other block stained light and finished. Was the block on the left in the pic above.

Block in action during a 223 loading session. Pre groves.

Haha yeah it is, but its a total coincidence. We remodeled at work and my boss said I could have one of the  old counter tops. It was my brass prep and priming bench. Now I call it bench of AWESOMENESS.

Thanks Dryflash for the detailed blue prints. I cant say how much I love progressive now. As everyone has said you can see why you didnt do it sooner. On a single stage it use to take me around 3 hours to do 250 rounds. This is maybe an hour off and on while I wasnt busy doing other stuff.
