A friend of mine has been letting me use his loading equipment and the Accurate Data Powder 2200.  So far I mostly loaded IMI 62 gr. FMJBT, the bag claims to be match grade but I'm not sure since they are Israeli made, and I'm unfamiliar with their standards over there.  I was just wondering if anyone has any pet loads for this powder.  I've just started loading some Sierra 77gr. HPBT as well.  With the 62 gr. bullets I've started at 21.5 and have worked up to 22.9 so far and havn't seen any signs of pressure.  I'm using Lake City brass trimmed to 1.750 and have been loading with an OAL range from 2.250-2.260.  I'm shooting out of a Larue Stealth Upper 16" and have consistently seen 2" ten shot groups from 100 yds.  I'm using a cheapie bushnell for the time being but it seems to get the job done.  I guess I'm mostly hoping for some info on the 77 gr. round.  I've started at 20.3 gr and am working up from there.  I've had trouble finding load information for these rounds with this powder so hopefully some of you guys are still using it.  I understand it was some military surplus that was distributed for limited time.

Thanks

It's too fast for the heavier bullets, stick to the 55-62 for best results.

Thanks for that info Borg, I'll have to ask my friend if he has anything slower for my 77gr.  I noticed on their website that some people have problems with the gun not cycling properly due to its faster burn rate.  Has anyone else experienced this with heavier bullets?  I also noticed that their load information for the Hornady 75gr HPBT has the starting load at 18.6 gr, and max at 20.3, these low numbers obviously due to the faster burn rate.

Tis a great powder for lighter 223 applications, a good one for 7.62x39, but the stocks dried up about 7 years ago....Wideners used have great deals on 32# delivered...A dirty powder......but, I think John Feamaster won a  BR match using that powder in an AR......has a tendency to be temp sensitive...perfect for 55gr loads..measures great.....

Thanks again for the info, I've yet to try any decent quality 55gr, so I might just have to pick some Sierras up sometime.  The powder does seem to measure well.  I've been using a powder measure and a trickler, but the measure has been very consistent so now I only use the measure.  Anyone have a favorite powder for 77 gr MK?
