Bought H38 and Hodgon's site and the bottle do not agree on the load 
Looked at books: Horandy, Nosler, Barnes None had data for .40 S&W, 165 JHP I think I can work out a start load, but why the dearth of info on this combo? |
| If I'm not mistaken, the label on the bottle shows a maximum load. The Hodgdon data site shows a start and a maximum load. Might go back to the hodgdon site and verify the maximum load. I've been using load data on the hodgdon site for a long while with a lot their powders including hp38. It has been working out great for me if I can't find the load data in any of my books. |
