| I have a small amount of .308 150 Gr flat base (approx 1000) that are machine pulled and need to be sized. How do the lee dies that are made for cast bullets work for this task? |
| You may or may not get them round again by sizing with the Lee die. Brass spring back after sizing could be a problem. Then it would be a question of seeing how they shoot. They can be used if a little lop sided, but may not be accurate. However, the Lee die is cheap and a thousand bullets is a nice resource so go for it and see what happens. |

Do you make the .009 change in one step? I had a hell of a time sizing .311 down to .308 as part of an experiment. ETA: OP the Lee die will work just fine for your purpose. Curious about this as well. Was given 1K SS - 109's in trade for a couple box's of Speer FMJ's. Seems like quite a squeeze. What lube / press 458 |
