My supply of purchased cast bullets is getting low and I need to buy some.

Mainly looking for .38 Special 148 gr Wadcutters and .44 240 gr SWCs.

Where is the best price for mail order?

Friends wood bullets are fairly cheap with flat rate box shipping. The 45 lrn I ordered are some of the best I've shot. I 'm awaiting delivery on some 38 WC and FP s right now actually.

I get them locally for $50/1K from a gun shop down the street.  No clue if they ship, but I can't see why they wouldn't.

They have rough graduations on their prices.  9mm/.357 is about $48/1K and .429 and .452 is about $52/1K

1911smith, I think your new sig line should be the ARFCOM Reloading's section PSA leader for the Lee FCD.

Yea, yea. I guess I am starting to sound DO sound like a rah, rah for Lee FCD.  Have taper crimped MOBUCO with both Lee and Lyman dies. FCD assures 100% feedabiity.

My brother in law's parents live in Melbourne and are coming up to visit in a couple weeks, I think I'm going to try to persuade them to bring me some .45 ACP! That's cheap!

OP, why don't you wander over to castboolits.
You'd fit right in.
I cast thousands for my everyday shooters, no reason you can't as well. The custom gang molds make it easy and quick.

Oh, I know you are right.  I've cast many thousands of bullets over the years.

But I just shoot too much to cast all of the bullets I shoot.  Especially of I can buy them cheaply.

Casting bullets is indeed fun, but shooting stuff is more fun.

Doug's Shoot 'n Sports, Taylorsville Utah

It looks like they don't have a website, but my last purchase was 500 240gr .429 and 500 230gr LRN .452, total cost was pretty close to $52 after tax.

Just make sure the bullets from MOBC come in the same box as the cal they are (I ordered 3 different cals from them and the boxes broke open in shipping. Was told that is why you buy insurance. Got my order in a USPS bag...).  Also the lube was missing from several bullets. Was told to shoot them, but don't shoot to many in a row, it may cause leading....  YMMV,
