My supply of purchased cast bullets is getting low and I need to buy some.
Mainly looking for .38 Special 148 gr Wadcutters and .44 240 gr SWCs. Where is the best price for mail order? |

Quoted: Friends wood bullets are fairly cheap with flat rate box shipping. The 45 lrn I ordered are some of the best I've shot. I 'm awaiting delivery on some 38 WC and FP s right now actually. MOBUCO is cheaper. But are FriendsWood better? LOL, at first I thought you were talking about actual wooden bullets.. that would be a hoot! |

Space Coast Bullets
I've used tons of these bullets in all calibers when I lived in FL. Calvin is a good guy. |
| Old Painless, suggest you use order direct. Here's link MOBUCO $33.00 for 500 45acp ain't bad. Suggest loading with FCD. |

Fire up the pot. Dude, you should be casting your own!! only way to fly. lotsa how to on the net. billy boy center 'em up I cast lots of bullets. But not those that I shoot hundreds of. OP, why don't you wander over to castboolits. You'd fit right in. I cast thousands for my everyday shooters, no reason you can't as well. The custom gang molds make it easy and quick. "Shooting Casting is fun" |

"Shooting Casting is fun" Oh, I know you are right. I've cast many thousands of bullets over the years. But I just shoot too much to cast all of the bullets I shoot. Especially of I can buy them cheaply. Casting bullets is indeed fun, but shooting stuff is more fun. |

I get them locally for $50/1K from a gun shop down the street. No clue if they ship, but I can't see why they wouldn't. They have rough graduations on their prices. 9mm/.357 is about $48/1K and .429 and .452 is about $52/1K Do they have a name? Doug's Shoot 'n Sports, Taylorsville Utah It looks like they don't have a website, but my last purchase was 500 240gr .429 and 500 230gr LRN .452, total cost was pretty close to $52 after tax. |
Just make sure the bullets from MOBC come in the same box as the cal they are (I ordered 3 different cals from them and the boxes broke open in shipping. Was told that is why you buy insurance . Got my order in a USPS bag...). Also the lube was missing from several bullets. Was told to shoot them, but don't shoot to many in a row, it may cause leading.... YMMV,
