Punched out 10 rnds of .45 with this powder the other day.  Test fired the load today.  Very little smoke and got 2" X 5 shot groups off hand at 20'.

Good enough for me. So I started the run tonight.
The load  Hornady 230 grn FMJ encl. on 4.8 grns of Tite Group over FED GM150M primers and some free brass

Yep, 45acp porn. Got Wood ? Titegroup and Varget are the two powders when received at local fun store that's always out of stock. Fortunatley they've a catch drawer that catches 3lbs of each for me. I know. I should be buying the 4lb jugs from Graf. Anywho, don't under estimate the accuracy. It performs extremely well compared to VVN320. IMR4756 is a sleeper powder for 45acp too.

Is the IMR4756  a ball powder?

It's flake. Meters well using Lee disk or micro-bar.

I'm running this ammo on a Dillon.  The TG is dropping right at 4.8 every time  I have used Universal with Clays technology before and it dropped well too.  I use that powder to make reduced loads for one of my 1911s.  Using 200 grn plated bullets it shoots like a 9mm.

Building 45acp is like building 350 Chevrolets. It can be the end all, be all, do all round. You can build it to be anything.

I thought it was an odd reflection so didn't call it out.

Still good looking though.

I had a case fall in to the bin when I was filling the case feeder.  I didn't see it till after I had taken the pic.  I was wondering how long it would take for someone to pick it out

Theres more where that came from.

At the range last night I was disappointed because it was so busy for a weeknight...

30 minutes into it, the two guys at the end (who have by now littered several hundred .45ACP cases on the ground) come up to me and ask "do you reload, would you like some brass?"
...

We had to stop shooting for 10 minutes while my son and I helped them pick it all up and put it into my range bag...  That's the best range pick-up score I've ever had.  And here I thought I was going to have to buy some more .45 brass soon as I only had ~400 once-fired cases.

Couple more scores like that and I won't have to bother worrying about buying brass!

Hey hey, Well with my new Glock 21 my 17 might have to take a little break. That thing is killer accurate and a soft shooter.

Funny how reloading for 1911 works, regardless of caliber. All my other hand gun platforms slowly got moved aside and moth balled.

My XD40 loves 5.8 gr's of Tite Group with the 155 gr XTP's, I was worried they would be to hot but ran fine(even with Rem 5 1/2 mag primers, got some 1 1/2's now though) and the most accurate load I have produced for my pistol yet.

I load my 180 gr plated and XTP's with 4.5 gr of Tite Group and they do well but I just got a # of Power Pistol to try with the heavier loads and also have 8#'s of the new Unique(got a killer deal of $50 for all 8lbs) but haven't tried it yet since I don't do that much load development or shooting my pistol as I do my rifles.

True, but you can get close.

BTW, last Saturday after shooting my G21L, I also came home and rolled an even 1,000rds of my favorite load to resupply my stock; 230grn Bear Creek moly bullets, Win LP primers, and 4.8grn TiteGroup at 1.22" OAL.  My G21L loves them.

I prefer Winchester 231 for .45ACP but hey if the load works well for you, have fun!  I do use lots and lots of Titegroup for my .40 S&W rounds, though.
