I just got some Wolf small pistol primers so I have not loaded any yet but have used over 5k Wolf small rifle primers and 1k Wolf larger rifle primers with no problems at all.

They work, are easy to find, same price as everything thats sold out, and maybe 2 or 3 out of a thousand will fail to ignite. The fact that I have 17k of primers even though they are Wolf severely out weights the possibility I might have 5 or 6 to not go off.

I wouldn't get any Wolf primers right now, this is from another board, note the current date on the post!  He's having about 10% failure rate on the Wolf primers.

The more powerful striker spring had no material affect on the reliability of my Wolf SP primers

I
emailed Wolf today asking if they had resolved the problem that caused
my primer failures, since I wished to purchase more primers but did not
want to do so if similar problems would occur.
Their answer was pretty unequivocal:
"No
the problem has not been corrected, please do not repurchase any of our
primers at this time, the problem has not been resolved, please note
that we will not process another return for you at this time, since you
are aware of the issues."

I use Wolf SRM primers in my 357mag loads for my leverguns and haven't had any ignition failures in the 4K I've fired so far.

No issues with the 5.56 SR Wolf primers in my mini 14.

I'd buy more w/o issue.

Besides Rem 7 1/2's, Wolf primers are all I buy now.

Wolfs Magnum small pistol primers vs CCI standard small pistol. The Wolfs produced lower speeds and higher ES and SD in my 9mm. Listed are just two tests, but Wolf consistently under perform CCI.

Been using Woof in Large Pistol for 45acp.

They are a tight fit but they go bang 100%.

With Power Pistol I never use mag primers. Might make a difference.

I had 3 fail out of 150 yesterday for 9MM loads.
Rechambered all 3 and 2 of them fired when struck again.

Pistol was dirty though so I'm not ruling out the gun.

curious as well, I'm just looking at getting back into reloading and seems like Wolf primers are the only ones I can find, good sources for primers and powder? I'm located in Kansas.
