picked up 5k os ss109 pulled bullets from a freind of a freind that havent been resized. I have borrowed a LEE .224 resizing die from anothe freind. What should i use to lube the bullets before i run them thru the resizing die. He sent some LEE alox lube with it but says it leaves a thick waxy film. is there somthing else to use?

I used WD40.......was just on the bench.....put em in a bucket, 2 short blasts, shook em around...it even removed the sealant...tumbled later and have never had a problem through 10k of them.

I haven't done a 5000 run but  a few hundred at a time and believe very little lube will be needed. I lube with Dillon case lube and lube one bullet every 20-30 bullets sized. You won't be doing much sizing, just ironing out possible high marks from machine pulling. A few will be out of round.

I didn't use any, just ran them thru the die and its fine. It was roughly, about 10,000ct.

Try some spray case lube, or whatever you use for case lube.
