| I have heard th eLee Loader would not work with the AR platform. I was told it only neck sizes, whereas automatics require full length sizing. Anyone have any experience with this? |

What you have heard is true. Neck sizing cases shot from your rifle will work for a while (with decreased reliability), but eventually you will need to full length size.
FWIW, the Lee Classic Loaders will make ammo, but ANY press is several orders of magnitude better. |

Classics are great if you don't have a hand press (like I do) and you want to load at the range or while at deer camp. Having reloaded for over 10 years I have to admit that I have been interested in getting and using the Classic dies just because it is more primitive and just fun. I know some who shoot competition who still use them in their bolt actions, but for a semi auto it is not the way to go. |

I have a friend that has his reloader set up. I guess I will probably have to get him to resize for me. I have a single stage Lee reloader but nowhere to set it up. I won't be high volume reloading or anything, just fun. Mount the press to a piece of 2X6 or plywood. C clamp that to the kitchen table when you want to load. Store it in a closet when you don't. Or get the Lee hand press. I don't care for it myself, but it certainly is portable. |
