| I am looking for a better deburing tool for my trimmate. The RCBS one isn't that great and doesn't really seem to work at all. I have a possum hollow hand held one i do like (this one) but it won't screw into trimmate. Anyone have a suggestion? If not i will have to see if i can't find someone to turn down and thread the shaft of the possum hollow one to work on the trimmate. |

I really like the Lyman Inside/Outside Deburring Tool. You can use it by hand with the provided handle or screw it into your Lyman Case Trimmer if you have one. It does a very superior job of deburring after trimming where the other brands I tried did not. I bought mine at Midway for $15 +/-. |

I watched a youtube video where a guy had a bench mounted case prep tool. It had a deburrer, chamfer and brushes that were all spinning. I have looked for one of these ever since but can't find them. That is what the OP has, it's called the RCBS Trim Mate. They look cool, but they are kinda pricey. That's the only reason I haven't bought one. |

Hornady makes something similar to the RCBS unit, but it also trims the brass too. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=314017 |

I would like to see some good critiques of the new Hornady station. I know it is $$$$$$ but I hate prepping brass!!!!!!!! I have one and its well worth its money. Can do everything in one swift motion instead of several steps. No more carpal tunnel while reloading. I can sit down for hours and knock out hundreds of rounds easily with no worries of pain in the wrist & hands. Not too mention I dont have to take a ton of breaks(which made reloading seem to take forever). It comes with everything except the shell holders. you have to purchase those separately. The time it takes for my electronic powder dispenser to throw 20gr and the scale to read it is what it takes to trim, chamfer, debur, pocket clean, pocket ream, and prime a piece of brass. It has 6 stations that you attach various accessories. I'm hoping the RCBS 3 way cutter will fit, that way it would eliminate one motion. So, imho, yes it is well worth it to me. |

RCBS inside VLD chamfering tool and Lyman outside deburring tool from their power case prep kit.
You could use this Lyman hand tool that will unscrew from the handle and fit your trim mate or you can get this(which is what I bought) and get an inside chamfering tool also and some power adapters that will fit any 8-32 cleaning or prep tool to use with a drill. The inside VLD chamfering tool I got from Lyman was dull so I got the RCBS inside VLD tool and it's very sharp, will last forever and does a great job, it's only $0.50 more to get the whole handle/VLD assy. and you can use it by hand or in your trim mate. The other tools that are great are the Redding PP uniforming tool I have in the front right hole and Redding flash hole uniformer/deburring tool that I have in the back center hole and the Hornady PP crimp reamer in the rear right hole in the first pic(Hornady PP cleaning tool in right rear of second pic). |

Ok, just realized a mistake i made in the post....i was talking about flash hole debur, not case mouth debur. i guess this is what i get for posting it so late.
As a side note, i am now using the RCBS 3-way cutter and it works great. On my trim mate i am running the RCBS pocket uniformer, the hornady mil crimp remover, rcbs pocket brushes, and the rcbs flashhole debur (this is what i want to replace). |

Use the Wilson/RCBS style chucked into a drill with the Sinclair adapter. That is as good as it gets. Deburring means "knock the burr off". If you are trying to put a chamfer on the case, that is more than is required. what are you using for flash hole debur?? |
