[ARCHIVED THREAD] - M 62 Tracers

I've got some 30 cal M62 tracer projos I'd like to load for both 7.62 and 30-06. The only data that I can find is the Army ammo data sheets that show WC846 for the 7.62 and nothing for use in 30-06. Anyone have a load using commercial powders for either one? The 7.62 is for use in a M1A and the 30-06 is for a Garand. Thanks for your help.

I shoot them in my Garand some and use H4895 powder. They all seem to light from what I remember. It's been a year or so since I shot any.

I've loaded them for my Garand and use IMR4895 powder and typical Garand loads. I've loaded them from 46-47.5 grains of IMR4895 and they light and with no pressure problems. Haven't shot them in .308 rifles.
