What is the benefit to using .452 bullets instead of .451 when reloading 45 ammo?

In modern 45 caliber 45 ACP, 45 Colt,
.452 dia is for lead swaged / cast bullets.
.451 dia is for jacketed bullets.
Lead bullets cost less than jacketed, and can be used for target / practice loads.

Some guns shoot better with .452" bullets(I assume you're talking about jacketed).

.452 for obvious reasons is going to give you a better gas seal.
