I have a very good friend living in Virginia Beach Virginia that is finally getting serious about reloading but can't find anything as far as local retailers who sell reloading equipment/supplies. So I'm turning to those that have answered some of my toughest questions (AR15.comers). Could anyone give me some direction? It would help most if you email me the info I am seeking, but any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Powder Valley is a good source of powder and primers

The Armory is a gun shop in VA Beach, they usually have good prices, at least on the firearms. I haven't bought an reloading stuff from them.
Bass Pro in Hampton no longer stocks reloading stuff (very disappointing) You can pick up primers and gun powder at the major gun shows down here, as well as most other reloading supplies. Bullets are usually cheaper to order online. I bought my last lot of bullets from Precision Delta, you should also check Montana Gold Bullets as well. |

Thank you very much. I hope I got them the info in time. Sir, as a long standing resident of what is locally known as "Tidewater Virginia" I can tell you that your best bet for a decent selection of reloading supplies and equipment is actually just north of Richmond. The store is called Greentops and is at the Atlee/Elmont exit of I-95 on Rt. 1 just north of where I-264 intersects with I-95. There are more local shops that carry some reloading equipment but the best selection is at Greentops. My second choice mostly for consumable reloading supplies is Bob's Gun Shop on Granby St. in Norfolk. I haven't scouted what they carry in terms of reloading equipment as I'm not really in the market, but I'm sure they have some. I haven't been in his shop for years because largely he's not a very pleasant guy but Ron Hess has a gun shop near Southern Shopping Center in Norfolk that usually carries reloading equipment.
