Winchester or Lake City cases
2.250" oal Winchester, Remington 7.5, CCI-BR4 or their mil. spec. primer, or Wolf 5.56mm primer. 20.6 grains of H-4198 is very accurate in my rifles and maximum despite many manuals showint this charge as mid-range. 22.0 to 23.0 grains of H-322 very accurate. 26.0 grains of WW-748 good load. 24.5 to 25.0 grains of IMR-4895 decent load. Cross reference the manuals, start lower and work up, there is no reason to exceed 2950 fps to 3000 fps from a twenty inch barrel if you have a chronograph. Good accuracy in that velocity range. |

I had good results with these loads using RA65 Nickle GI cases and CCI SR primers; no loads showed any pressure signs in MY guns:
26.1/AA-2460, 2.25" OAL, .8" and .9" 5 shot groups at 100 yd 24.5/IMR-3031, 2.25" OAL, best I could get was 1.32" for 5 shots @ 100 yd 26.5/BLC2, 2.25" OAL, best 4 shots @ 100 yd was .87" 26.4/H-335, 2.24" OAL, best 5 shots was 1.44" for 100 yd 26.8/WW748, 2.24" OAL, best 5 shots 1.52" @ 100 yd 25.0/WC844, 2.22" OAL, best 10 shot group was 1.18" @ 100 yd, best 5 shot groups was .64" @ 100 yd, also a 9 shot @ .65" (this load one with various GI cases) Just my experience with my AR's. As always, start low and work up for your gun(s). |

I like 21.5 to 21,7 gr Reloder 7 with a Rem 71/2 primers, Its not a speed demon, but it is very accurate. |

A load that is close to your Sierra 53 gr that shoots great in my 1 in 9 AR was suggested by our forum mod AeroE. Win case, Sierra 52 gr HPBT, Rem 7 1/2, 27.0 grs Reloader 15, no crimp, OAL 2.250. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg272/dryflash3/P7070232.jpg This load is MOA or better in my two "accuracy" guns |

W-748, H-335, H-322, IMR 4198, & VARGET are all excellent powders.. Not sure what is available in your area but if you can find any of these creating a good shooting handload will be pretty easy..
Right now I am using W-748 and just about done with the 12 lbs or so I had.. Throwing 26gr of W-748 and pretty much any bullet I tried from 52-62 gr shot really well. This load combo has been fired in about 15 rifles to date with excellent accuracy and 100% function.. H-335 is what I used most before I scored the 748.. I had just purchased an 8 LB Jug of 335 when the 748 found it's way to me (for FREE!).. Now that the WIN powder is almost gone I'll be using the Hodgdon again, or I may save it and buy another Jug of 748? 21gr of IMR 4198 and 52-55 gr Bullets worked very well in my rifles, but of course it does not meter as nice as the Ball powders. 25 gr of H-335 and 52-55 gr Bullets is my standard load and works great..
