I was looking at the ones on Midway and none of them really seemed to get great reviews.
I'm not looking to buy one that's several hundred dollars and I'm not planning on weighing charges with it so it doesn't need to be .1grain accurate all the time. All I'm looking to do is weigh bullets and brass. I would think I need something at least 750 grain capacity preferably closer to 1000 for .50 BMG bullets. Does anyone have anything they'll recommend? |
| The RCBS 750 Range Master is a GOOD scale on the cheaper side but for a few more $'s you can get a nice set of Dillon scales that ARE dead on all the time and weigh up to at least 1500 gr's, why worry more about bullet and case weight than charge weight which will make the most difference? |

I have a beam scale to weight charges with now. I want to weigh bullets and brass to squeeze the most accuracy out of surplus .50bmg bullets and brass, from my understanding there is a lot of variance, especially in the FMJ bullets. I like to shoot FAR!!!!! but don't want to buy $2 apiece match bullets all the time. |
