I was looking at the ones on Midway and none of them really seemed to get great reviews.

I'm not looking to buy one that's several hundred dollars and I'm not planning on weighing charges with it so it doesn't need to be .1grain accurate all the time.

All I'm looking to do is weigh bullets and brass. I would think I need something at least 750 grain capacity preferably closer to 1000 for .50 BMG bullets.

Does anyone have anything they'll recommend?

The cabela's brand digi scale is a good one with a 1500 grain max. I have one right now and it works fine.

gs 1500 if your not weighing charges.

they are cheap and quick to weigh componets.

The RCBS 750 Range Master is a GOOD scale on the cheaper side but for a few more $'s you can get a nice set of Dillon scales that ARE dead on all the time and weigh up to at least 1500 gr's, why worry more about bullet and case weight than charge weight which will make the most difference?

I'm very happy with the RCBS 750.

I have a beam scale to weight charges with now. I want to weigh bullets and brass to squeeze the most accuracy out of surplus .50bmg bullets and brass, from my understanding there is a lot of variance, especially in the FMJ bullets. I like to shoot FAR!!!!! but don't want to buy $2 apiece match bullets all the time.

I agree and love it...i use my beam to check it sometimes and its always right on and don't get off if i accidently bump it.

I have the Dillon D-Terminator and a MTM Case-Gard mini-digital scale.

The Dillon has a 110 plug and the Mini runs on batteries; neither is very good for trickling charges, but are great for weighing bullets and cases and for checking powder measure settings.

RCBS 750 has worked for me without being too expensive.
