Dose this trimmer chamfer and debur at the same time as it trims or do i have to do that by hand.

I have used one for over 15 years and love it. As above, it does NOT chamfer or debur. I do chamfer very lightly afterward, but there is no need to debur. I'm probably wasting my time doing so, but I am very anal about the ammo I load and don't mind lavishing time on my brass.

Quoted: Not technically...but i have one, and the cut is so smoothly I have never noticed any need for deburing/chambering... Actually, technically it does chamfer as it cuts at a 4ยบ angle on the outside. Also, as stated above, the cut is so smooth I can't see any burs at all. So, if you're shooting boat tail bullets like most do, it works just fine. Quoted: 1200? How many per hour? If you have a casefeeder on your auto indexing progressive (i.e. Dillon 650, 1050, or Hornady LnL AP) and your case prep toolhead installed, all you do is crank the handle to decap, resize, and trim 1,200 - 1,500 pre lubed cases per hour if you sprint. Doing 1,000 per hour is easy without rushing. |
| I've never chamfered or de-burred with my 1200....I have my Lee Loadmaster setup with my size die station 1, 1200 in 3 and a old .308 die with a .223 expander in 5 to help with any burrs left by the trimmer. I have loaded both boat tails and flat bases with no problems! |

This removes any material that might be on the inside of the case neck. As for deburring the outside, I have never round it necessary. The Dillon 1200 trimmer kicks @$$ on speed as well.....as stated about 1200-1400 rounds per hour is a nice smooth but quick pace. |
