If anyone has the Sierra Reloading 5th edition book - can you guys tell me the .308 Win max recommended and accuracy loads for the 175, 168 and 155 SMK using RL-15? I ordered the book last week and expected it on Sat but it didn't arrive. I'm doing load workups and wanted to get accurate data to work my loads from the max on down. I'm loading right now, so any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Quoted: Trial and error is all we can tell ya. You'll get the "what will work for one gun may not work for yours" speach but it's mostly the time everyone has in there loads that make them hard to give up so easy. I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. I wasn't looking for anyone's "home recipie". I was looking to see if anyone that had the current Sierra book could repro the page(s) for the bullet weights and powder I listed. I have the book on the way, but I needed a starting point to work up my own trial and error loads, so I wanted to see what they list as the max for that powder and bullet weight so I could use that as my starting point. The sierra websight doesn't have any specific data that I could find - i.e. they want you to buy thier book. I already did, but UPS didn't get it to me in time. |
