help!

i am new to reloading of 223 but have been reloading pistol for a while.
i have a 1/7 14.5 chrome lined colt barrel,

i have read that using 75gr bullets will give good accuracy.
i have purchased 77gr sierra ammo and will be using VV N140. what will be the ideal FPS i need
to clock in order for me to get good accuracy for targets @ 300yards?

thanks for the help guys!

Consult your reloading manual and don't excede max loads.  Your velocity will be lower than listed because of the shorter barrel.

Work the load up as any prudent reloader will do looking for signs for pressure, accuracy, reliability, and above safety! NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!

THIS!

Plus, research the Ladder Method (which has another name I forget). That will help you figure out the accurate load for YOUR gun.
