Given today's prices for supplies how much could I expect to spend to reload 9mm (for starts) per 1K. Not counting the costs of whatever reloader I get, just to pump out 1K rounds. I have 6-8K of new loaded ammo so I won't need brass.

There are to many variables in your question
1. New or used brass ?
2. What type of bullet ?
3. Type of powder ?

These are just a few things that affect cost, I personally load for around 0.10@

if you shoot lead bullets and buy in bulk, you can expect to be under $100 per k

8 lbs of  win 231 powder at $130 (3.8 gr per round)

5000 primers $130
