Ok, started loading my 270WSM. Book says Min OAL is 2.80, right. Federal factory load measures 2.627. My load is ballistic tip. What gives, I assume i measure from the tip, including the ballistic tip. Any help would be great.

Bought one, and have one. Where do you think i got the min OAL from. The manual states 2.8 is the min OAL. Just wondering why the Factory federal loads are so much shorter for the same bullet. But thanks for the post
