if there are bolt actions chambered in 5.56x45 or have 223 Wylde chambers?

I'm reloading for an AR15 already and was considering getting a bolt action, however, I use military surplus 5.56 brass.  So another question on the matter might be, will my sizer die convert a 5.56 Nato case into a 223 case, ergo, it won't matter how the bolt gun is chambered.

resize with a full length die, remove the primer crimp and trim and the rifle will never know the difference.

The case is not different between 5.56X45mm (NATO) and .223 Remington.

Trim length is really the only difference besides the crmped primer pockets.
1.760 on 5.56 and 1.750 on .223.

Just use your conversionary 5.56 to .223 case trimmer and problem solved.

I have a Model 70 chambered in 223.

I use the same sizing die (223) for both AR's, Model 70, and my 223 Contender.

LC and WCC brass both are fine in the Model 70.

I often shoot the same reloaded ammo in AR's and my bolt action rifle. The AR chamber is different than the chamber of most bolt action rifles. The AR chamber has a longer throat than bolt rifles and the bullet travels farther before it hits the rifling than in a shorter throated bolt action. My bolt action rifle also has a little shorter headspace than my AR's by about 2 thousandths. Full length resizing dies wil size your brass and will work fine for both rifles. A few years ago I had some reloaded 55 fmj ammo that was near maximum in my AR's. When I tried them in my new bolt action rifle they were too hot and showed pressure signs in the bolt action but not in an AR. Your military brass and full-length sizing die are fine for both but just make sure that your sized brass and overall length will chamber ok if you get a bolt action and that pressures can be higher in a bolt action chamber.
