What advantages might one have with a wylde chambered 223 when it come to reloading.  This is something I have not thought about.  Is there any disadvantages?

You can go up to NATO pressures if you want to take your brass that far.  With a .223 chamber you can't do that.

A 5.56 chamber will obviously take NATO pressure, but there's an accuracy loss.  So the Wylde chamber gives you the best of both worlds, and I'll add in I'm not affiliated with Rock Rivers Arms in any way.

I've been able to exceed published maximums with a Wylde chamber without pressure signs. Obviously working up of course. I've fired 5.56 through my Wylde chambers and haven't had any problems either, while printing sub-moa groups. Definitely the best of both worlds.

My Wylde chambered 20" RRA is very accurate and like the others, I've had no issues using the 5.56 NATO level rounds I've made for my carbine.  Enjoy your new reloading hobby.
