Just scored a 550b for $60.
It was missing however the powder measure, primer warning, primer catch cup, small primer bar, any powder bars, and tool head. But hey I can use the small primer bar from my other 550. |

Makes me wonder how somone loses all those parts Anyway: strip it, clean it up nice, and lube it http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=483 |

The pin does not want to come out of the crank however, and the operation of it is stiff. This press is an older 550B light blue hollow link arm pins, and the primer bar is solid not open on the bottom side. I'm going to mount it next to my other presses and lubrisizer. |

I haven't decided if my buy is a score. I bought two Unimat lathes plus accessories and 165 pounds of lead, ingot molds, and a big dutch oven for $425 on Wednesday night. The lathes are good to go, except there is no milling table.
The lathes are mounted back to back on a steel table with wheels, so two different set ups are possible. I don't have photos, haven't had time. |
