I've got two 5 gal. buckets full just sitting. A lot of 7.62 NATO and -06. And the rest is .223/5.56. Don' really want to sort it. Any idea what it's worth as is to a reloader? And I am aware of the issues reloading the milsurp. I'm just tired of looking at it. Or should I just sell it as scrap? Thanks.         ETA: thanks everybody. The -06 and 7.62 NATO is almost all misurp. The .223/5.56 is mixed. Sorry, but this is not a WTS so I won't be responding to inquiries. I'll sell locally so the buyer can inspect. Again, sorry about not replying.

Don't scrap it.  I don't know what it is worth but it's more than scrap.

I would buy some or all of the 762x51/.308  Its selling for a premium right now because its hard to find.  Check the equipment exchange and look at those prices and watch what actually sells.
When you do sell it, pack it in the flat rate boxes and shipping costs for all of it should be around 60-90$ for two 5 gallon buckets.(best guess)  IT also depends if they are all boxer primed or berdan primed.  If you have a lot of berdan primed cases in there, then those should be scrapped, or sold to the rare individual capable and willing to reload berdan primed cases.

If you want to take the time to sort it and check head stamps you will be able to make more on the brass assuming you don't have much junk (berdan, damaged, or undesirable headstamps, etc)  but since you said you didn't want to sort it then at least pull a random sampling of 10 of each of the types of brass in the buckets, and post what you find, and then post it up on EE unless someone messages you a good offer right off the bat.

Don't forget that most Milsurp ammo are berdan primed.  They are extremely difficult to find in the US at this time.  I haven't seen anybody carry them for the past few years.

If they are berdan primed then I would just sell them for scrap.
