Ok I finally found and bought me a 6.8 upper by RRA. The problem I am finding that we all are going through is no/to little ammo for sell.
So I am getting reloading matterials for loading the 6.8. So far i have: RCBS dies Hornaday brass 50 count. Remington brass 100 count SIerra 110gr prohunter coming in monday Now I have a Lee factory crimp die that is coming in on monday. The question is for those that handload the 6.8. Do you crimp your handloads? Now I do crimp lightly my 06 loads for my Browning Bar for consistant neck pressure on the bullet in a relitively heavy recoiling rifle but is this nessery for the 6.8? I still have not decided on a powder(assuming I can find some when I decide) that will give me 2550 fps with out it being a max load. Suggestions? The rifle is RRA lower and RRA upper 16inch chromed barrel. |
