I had a guy send me 3000 mixed cases to run thru my auto processing machine.  For some reason this one was sitting on top of the pile and caught my eye..

Its an R-P 223 case, and by the looks of it was deformed during the brass manufacturing process.  It was then factory loaded and fired.  My point being it made it thru the factory QC process, then the shooter missed it also.

I had one come from HSM 223 55gr fmj, it had no primer, and no powder. It did have a bullet seated.

I saw a remington the other day at the range that was almost folded in half .... it came out of a brand new box never opened before...... the shooter was a new shooter at the range and bought it to me to look at.

I have a virtually identical Remington 6.8SPC case "brand new" never loaded that I received in a bulk order of that brass.
