I am wanting to load some 130gr Sierras with AA2520, didn't have much luck with a Google or AR15 search. Anybody use this?
I belong to the 6.8 forum over there, no love with the heavy bullets, thanks for the links though. |

+1
I saw it listed for some 115OTM's but not the 130's. If you do go to 68forums (you should) here is a link to there load data: 68fourms load data |
| The reason nobody has information for it is because the bullet will not fit in the mag (too long). People are long loading these and loading them one at a time through the port. Otherwise you use up too much boiler room in an already small case. Hornady has some load data for their 130's but they haven't listed AA-2520 as a powder. Hornady list's 2.355" oal with the 130's compared to 2.245" oal for all 115's and lighter. A bolt action could probably handle these bullets a lot easier than an AR based rifle. |

PRI and Barret mags let you load out to 2.31, Cproducts 2.28. I have load data loading ranging there COAL from 2.28-2.31. I have personally used them w/H322, COAL of 2.31. If I can ever find some TiteGroup, I'm planning on using them for some subsonics. Some people are even loading up the 135 SMK's. |
