| I got some Hornady 68gr BTHP and I got some Accurate 2460. The Hornady manual doesn't list the 2460 and the Speer manual doesn't list the 68gr BTHP. Can I use the charge data from the Speer manual for their 70gr bullet and the 2460? I can't imagine why not. |

Thanks, guys. I figured it would work fine, but it's always nice to have a little sanity check when it comes to throwing powder. Good to ask if you don't know, and at least the title of the thread was more fair warning that most expect. I think both my reloading books (Speer and Lee) cover the subject. As a rule, one can use load data for the next heavier bullet as a starting point to work up from. I'd temper that with a "as long as the weights are pretty close". |

Since you are new to reloading and may need more load data let me suggest getting a subscription to www.loaddata.com. For 29.99 a year you'll get a hell of alot more data than you will in any three books you can buy. Also check out MD Smith's Reloading Pages: http://www.reloadammo.com/ |
