I picked up some lead bullets and now I don't think I can use them. These bullets are hollow points
with two lube grooves, they weigh in at 110 grains, measure out at .306 to .308 so they are not perfectly
round. If I measure one at .307 and rotate it a little it might measure .308 or .306. What round do you
think these are actually for, I thought about using them for my .30 carbine but they may be too small in
diameter.

Have you slugged your barrel? Nominal groove diameter for the M1c is .308"; I'd go ahead and try a few; I think the only downside is that you might get a bit of leading.
Those bullets are too small for .32 Long or .32-20 etc.

It would make a difference............so, what were they originally sold (cast) for?

Pistol or rifle and what particular caliber?

Why not just use them for that purpose?

If they don't work out........lesson learned.

Aloha, Mark

PS..........IF you don't have a clue..........do some reasearch by looking a various cast bullets and/or molds.

These were in an unmarked baggie, probably from a broken box or an unknown caster. I picked them up from a guy
who buys stuff at auctions by the box, he then sorts it out then puts it on a catch all table for sale. I looked at the LEE
bullet molds and the closest was a .309 mold but I'm still looking.

Good..........you sound like you're on the right track.

The LEE #309, profile wise,  looks very much like any ol' "standard rifle" type of lead bullet.

So........measure, and size them (actually more like, fill the grooves with lube) if it hasn't been done yet.  Gas check on the base, will allow for a little higher velocity vs. a plain lead base.  But, it's up to you.

Then, go experiment.

BTW.......bolt action only.

IMHO..........though, some have done it.........semi autos and lead in the gas system isn't fun.

Aloha, Mark

PS...........MY guess would be that they were meant for a .30 cal.

Size wise (.307" dia)........OK maybe, they were his rejects?

But, I wouldn't let that bother me so much.

Hey, it's already..........PAID FOR.

They're for a 30 cal carbine.
