So, I am going to sometime in the future start reloading .30-06 after I buy an M1 Garand and start to shoot it. Approximently how many rounds will 1 lb of propellant fill?

1 pound is 7000 grains. 118 59 grain loads.

If you load the standard ~48-49 grains of 4895 you'll get about 145 rounds.

If you do not spill any or have the powder dispenser metering accuraterly and not putting more in some than others

About 148 rounds at 47 grains. There is a reason us M1 shooters buy IMR 4895 in 8 lb jugs.
