Howdy folks,
I JUST inherited a RCBS JR3 and want to start reloading .223. What all do I need? Right now I have: brass, press, case trimmer. So far, I think I need: Dies for the press Powder Primers some way to clean the brass powder scale/some way to measure it out What else do I need? Wheres a good place to get this stuff? What do I need for the press to get it set up for .233? Do they even make accessories for these presses anymore?(its got'a be a good 15 yrs old, but its in great shape). Reloading is COMPLETELY new to me. Any info would be great. Thanks, Ben |

You'll need a shell holder, a 6 inch caliper, and several other tools. I recommend a hand priming tool and a powder measure such as an RCBS Uniflow. The thread linked above has a ton of information. You'll find links to suppliers in the Reloading References, and tutorial in the, duh, Reloading Tutorials. Read all four sections at the top of the forum, then follow the links in the Gateway thread tacked at the top of the forum. By the way, I have the thread Mark linked above in the Gateway now. |
