No small rifle primers left anywhere - any brand.
Small pistol, just a few hundred. Large rifle and pistol, still a few boxes of 1000 left if you really look. Magnum stuff still available. Is this just a regional thing, or are you guys stocked out too? This hobby is really starting to suck. |

I ordered 5k of wolf from Wideners early this week. Are they already all out too? It looked like they had a good inventory.
This shit happens every few years. Gun owners are generally not the brightest group of folks. It's IRONIC that you always see gun owners calling other people SHEEP!!

I got tired of primers being gone and the price always going up, so after the primer shortage of 1995 (?) I vowed to never be short on primers again and acted accordingly This..... Yep. Believe it or not, we're still not nearly as bad off as things were in 1994-1996. |
|
My local range is also the local reloading store, they stock everything for reloading. They have tons of primers in stock, and the owner told me that the last primer shortage, he ALWAYS had primers in stock.
I think it's the big box retail stores that have supply issues vs the speciality shops.. -Masta |

I've got 7K SRPs headed my way. Bought 5K of CCI No. 41 from a guy on GB, and another 2K of Wolf Magnums from Powder valley. When were they in stock at PV? I ordered them quite a while ago. I'd completely forgotten about the order when I got an email from them last Thursday telling me the primers were shipped. UPS tracking says they'll be here on the 26th. |

I have had 40K on order for 2 weeks. All non magnum flavor. grafs
L rifle bought local, took all they had L pistol same 15K magtech s pist on hand waiting for more b4 shipping 2nd time I chose grafs solely for their backorder policy. I imagine many pile of people's stuff waiting for completion to ship. |

Bruno's has Wolf Small Rifle Magnums (556 primers) $28.95 which is a bit pricey for wolf but got to take what you can get right now.

I'll just get CCI for the same price locally. |
| I go up the street, litteraly. Sure I bought the last 1000 SR CCI primers, but there were plenty of other brands to choose from. I grabbed the last 8# IMR4064 they had and a few H335. I just found a company that will re-load your brass at a very good price. I received some .44-40 from them today. 1000 round lots. You can use your brass, get a brass credit, go w/ used brass w/ no turn in or get new brass. $335.00 per 1000 55gr FMJ .223. PM me for details. BTW, They love group buys. |
| I had an order of CCI large rifle primers on back order at Midsouth and happened to lookup the order to see if there was an update avalible. There was they were substituting Remington Large rifle primers for the CCI. I quickly submitted my order and the quanity was listed as low. I then checked the web sight after my order and they were out of stock. I did confirm my order was shipped out. Any way I have a 1000 primers coming. That should hold me for awhile. |
