| CCI Small Rifle Military Primers #41, I bought 1000 of them. Because they are military primers do they have the crimp or need the crimp to use them, or does in mean their a tougher prime? HELP[>:/] |

There's no common and reasonably simple method available for reloaders to recrimp primers. It's not necessary anyway if the cases are usable.
A brave soul could try staking primers with a punch, but I expect not much hilarity would ensue. If you don't know what "stake" means, then you definitely aren't ready to give it a try. But if you do, I want to watch the video. [Don't do it, it's dumb.] If you are using surplus brass with crimped in primers, you'll want to remove the crimp before seating your new primers. |
