[ARCHIVED THREAD] - small base dies

I'm sure these exist for a reason but to date none of my autoloaders have require them. Ive used new and fired brass w/o any chambering problems. FL seems to be enough. So, could someone who has actually needed to use them give me some insight? Redding and RCBS are the only suppliers I could find for this type of die.

I load for ARs, M1's, M1a's and I have never needed them either.

I've never used them for any M-1's, M1A's, Mini 14's, AR 180's, Fal's, custom cut math chamber's, Rem 760, even a Browning Auto, and a couple of tight neck rifles.
Just a solution looking for a problem.
The trick is to set your die up right, th's all.
