Well I got my baby back today. I sent my RF-100 primer filler back week before last because it was not working. I was told that there was an update and a retro fix for the machine to make it better.

Better it is. They remove the on off switch on the cord. The on button on the box is not only still the timed on button, but it will switch the unit off now. Plus there is a rheostat on the control box along with a new computer board. Now I can control the speed of the motor.

A much needed and much better change. I am happy to have it back. Now production times will speed up again.

The only thing it cost me was shipping and insurance back to them. They covered everything else.

How much time does that thing save you?
My Girls love putting the primers in the pick up tubes
so I never considered one of them

That thing is like magic! When the low primer buzzer goes off, you have a tube already filled.

That pretty much says it. Primer filling takes less than 30 seconds.

Basically the way it works is this.

Put 100 primers in the machine. Press the on button. That starts the timed motor. It fills the tube inside that 2 minute timed window. While it is doing that you are on the press loading ammo. The average person can load between 30-50 rounds while the filler is running. When the primer alarm beeps, take the magazine off the filler and put the primers in the loader. Then repeat the process.

If you have people dedicated to filling primer tubes then you may not want to spend the money. But your indentured servants will get older and not want to help dad at some point.
