Hey guys,
I know nothing about reloading. Now that i got that out of the way. I want to reload .223/5.56 and .458 socom. What parts do i need to buy, want to stay on the less expensive side if i can and don't want to buy a bunch of crap I don't need when i really only want to reload those two. Thanks. |

thanks, that gets me started. What do i need specifically for the .458 once i have the press? Just dies? haha noob, I am still very green my self. I started reading in April, picking up brass, got some reloading books. I read more and more here. I found websites for componit, I read the paper almost everyday looking for gear. In September I got my Dillon 550, should have got a 650. And I have about 2,500rds mostly 9mm and 223. That is a lot more then I shoot. But this is a fun hobby in its self. It you think there is a EBR sickness just wait till you reload. Its like crack I can not stop. And my mailman now hates Flat Rate boxes. So No you need a lot more. But first buy "The ABC's of Reloading" |

For the .223 &.458 socom all you need is a single stage press.I bought the rcbs master reloading kit.Its = called the supreme kit now.Its a quality set-up.Great scale and powder measure.
You'll need powder, bullets, primers, brass, bullet hammer for when you screw up,and you will.Spray lube, loading blocks. dies, shell holders for the press of each caliber, reloading books with 458 socom loads, alot don't have that info.Tumbler for cleaning brass, tumbler media, case trimmer and pilots. The initial investment is costly but after that your good to go! http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=646599 |
