I had a problem with the priming system of my Dillon XL650.  It wasn't indexing properly.

I took it apart for a thorough cleaning and inspection and found a bent ratchet pawl and
the indexing ramp was damaged.   I contacted Dillon and explained the circumstances
and a box arrived two days later from Dillon.

It contained ALMOST the entire complement of small parts that comprise the primer
system, short of the feed assembly casting and the primer disc.

New ramps, all of them.  New primer punches, both small and large.  New pawl and
several other small parts.

No charge.

Dillon's customer service genuinely is awesome beyond belief.  What you've heard
about them is true, in spades.

You could literally leave your Dillon out in the rain and let it rust itself solid, send it to
Dillon, and they'd send it back to you looking like brand new,  at any time,  and never
charge you for it, I think.

They've replaced presses that had been destroyed in fires.   For no charge.

The value of an old Dillon is almost exactly the cost of a new one, as a trip to the factory
for refurbishment typically results in a full overhaul for free.

I don't know how they can stay profitable giving away all those parts,  but I can say this:
As long as they ARE in business, they GET my business.

I had a Dillon press replaced that went through a fire back in 1997.

Just sent in a Square Deal for a rebuild last summer.

Was a fun show find and had many missing parts.

Got it back with all the upgrades, and a new powder measure.

I love the blue kool-aid.

Sir, FWIW I've been a loyal Dillon customer for at least twenty-five years.  When I need a component the first place I look is the Blue Press.  Not that I don't use equipment from other manufacturers just that I check them out first.  I used a Dillon trimmer for many years before Doug Giraud marketed his trimmer.  It took me a few years but I finally sold the Dillon trimmer and bought a Giraud.  Also I recognize the limitations of the Dillon powder measure with some types of powder, I have a number of reloading components from Redding.  I will point out that while Dillon's no BS warrenty is by and large true, they do not warrent electrical components for more than a year.  When I spoke to them about rebuilding my trimmer they quoted me a price.  I ended up doing the work myself as I have access to a machine shop.  JMHO, 7zero1.

Where Dillon sucks is when they charge you $12.00 to ship a $10.00 part...

Thay have raped me on the shipping every time I order small...

Lately I have learned to buy more stuff before clicking the 'checkout' button...

For small stuff, I suggest that you call them directly to order.  I've done that and their shipping charges are next to nothing that way and many times, they just send me the part for free.
