When you neck size how much of the neck do you size?  Do you trim after every firing?  Do you size the neck then trim?  Thanks guys

I size the whole neck in a Lee collet die. I don't trim after every firing. Some people size just half of the neck in a bushing die. Do whatever floats your boat. In my experience, the Lee collet neck die produces straighter ammo than any bushing die (from brass fired in SAAMI spec chambers).

#1 Always trim brass after sizing if indicated
#2 You can decrease the over working and stretching of the case using a carbide expander ball vs the standard one.
#3 If you use redding dies (maybe other) you can get a replecement of the expander ball that does not touch the case mouth
#4 Bushing type neck dies allow you to control the neck tension which would vary brand to brand of brass if you want to get really particular
#5 You can neck size with a FL sizer die back off so as to not mess with the neck just smoke the case neck and then size the case till you are nearly sizing the whole length of the neck or as much as you want
